Now available is a 1970 Chevrolet C10 Stepside Shortbed Pickup for sale. This was bought at one of the biggest car shows in Charlotte, NC during the first week of April. We ended up trading a 1969 Cadillac Eldorado, plus cash for this beautiful truck.
The Odometer shows 61,692 Miles with additional Super Tachometer Gauge. However, I can’t verify the mileage because the engine is not the Original Stock Engine. With this being said, it is not a Matching Numbers Chevy Truck. It does have a Chevrolet 350 replacement engine, which is correct for these trucks and for 1970 models. Exterior Color is Red Orange. Interior is a Custom Interior that is Checkerboard and a blend of Cream Color. Has Vintage AC and it blows Ice Cold. Steering Wheel is a Nardi Steering Wheel. Transmission is a Manual Transmission. Has AM and FM Radio.
The Body is in extremely good shape. Very straight. There’s a few minor flaws. Paint is about a 7 or 8 out of 10. Needs a quality Paint Job for this truck to standout. The body has a couple of surface rust issues. On the front corners of each side, I have ordered new caps that are to be welded and painted for replacement. The only other flaws with the paint are a few chipped areas on the truck. Some are on the top of the bed and around the doors. The are very small so they aren’t that bad. The bed of the truck is a nice finished wood. It’s in good condition. It shines, but could use a little attention.
Overall, this truck is in Excellent Condition. It’s a perfect candidate for a great project for Restoration. Or just keep in the condition it’s in, tweak a few things here and there, and drive and enjoy. These C10s and being a 1970 model and becoming more collectible, so if I owned it, I would want it restored, as it would add value.
