The Sun reports that they rented the left-hand-drive car for the event, but no worries! Jaguar said they would be happy to build and sell you one just like it, if you are willing to spend around $500,000.

This E-Type Jaguar is powered by a 300 HP electric motor under its long hood that is known to be legendary. It is also faster than the six-cylinder engine in the original. The automaker says it can hit a top speed of 150 mph and go 170 miles between charges.

Not for long will this green machine be the only battery-powered car in Jaguar’s lineup. They announced that it is launching the I-Pace electric SUV later this year that has a MRSP of $70,000. I guess you can say the electric vehicles are now going to be in much more of a demand.
